🧠 When the Higher Self Says “Not Yet” - One of the Hardest Lessons in QHHT

One of the most difficult moments for a practitioner is this:

A client comes in desperate for answers.

They want:

  • clarity

  • healing

  • direction

  • confirmation

  • relief

The session begins…

The Higher Self comes through…

And then the answer is simply:

“Not yet.”

Honestly…

this can feel incredibly uncomfortable for practitioners.

Because everything inside us wants to:👉 help more👉 go deeper👉 push further👉 get the client what they came for

But a beautiful practitioner discussion recently revealed something profound:

👉 sometimes “not yet” is actually part of the healing.

🌊 Practitioners Often Feel Responsible for Producing Results

This is rarely talked about openly enough.

Many practitioners quietly carry an internal pressure that says:

“I need to help this client leave transformed.”

Especially when the client arrives:

  • emotionally overwhelmed

  • in crisis

  • deeply confused

  • or searching for certainty

And when the session feels:

  • quiet

  • incomplete

  • vague

  • or emotionally unresolved

practitioners often leave thinking:

👉 “I failed.”

But Lori’s story revealed something incredibly important:

What looked like a “limited” session…was actually the beginning of a much larger unfolding process.

🧠 The Higher Self Was Already Working

During the client’s first session:

  • the SC connected

  • a strong energetic presence emerged

  • deep love was felt

  • but the answers themselves did not come.

Instead:

“Not yet.”

And honestly…

many practitioners would have interpreted this as:❌ blocked❌ incomplete❌ unsuccessful

But five months later…

the client returned transformed:

  • calmer

  • softer

  • more open

  • more trusting

  • and already integrating the healing into her life.

That’s profound.

Because the healing had already begun:👉 after the first session

Even without explicit answers.

🌿 Not All Healing Happens Inside the Session

This may be one of the most important practitioner realizations of all.

Practitioners often unconsciously think:👉 the breakthrough must happen during the session itself

But experienced practitioners repeatedly observe something different:

👉 the subconscious continues working afterward

Quietly.Gradually.Intelligently.

The session may plant:

  • awareness

  • energetic shifts

  • nervous system regulation

  • emotional openings

  • or subconscious movement

that unfolds:👉 over weeks or months.

⚡ “Not Yet” Is Sometimes Protection

One of the deepest insights came from Suzanne Spooner, who shared a powerful story about a client with MS.

The SC later explained:👉 the client did not yet believe she was worthy of healing

And because of that:👉 immediate healing would not have held.

That insight changes everything.

Because practitioners often assume:👉 if healing is possible, it should happen immediately

But the subconscious also considers:

  • readiness

  • nervous system capacity

  • belief systems

  • emotional stability

  • and integration ability

🧘 The Client’s System May Need Time to Catch Up

This is huge.

Sometimes the conscious mind wants answers faster than the nervous system can safely process them.

The SC may know:

  • too much clarity too quickly could overwhelm the client

  • certain truths may destabilize them

  • or the client first needs emotional preparation

So instead of giving:👉 information

the session gives:👉 presence

And honestly…

presence itself can be profoundly healing.

🌊 Practitioners Need to Learn the Art of NOT Pushing

Lori shared something incredibly important:

She initially tried moving back toward the client’s prepared questions…but quickly felt:👉 an intuitive inner check not to push further.

That is practitioner maturity.

Because newer practitioners often panic in moments like this and begin:

  • forcing questions

  • over-guiding

  • chasing answers

  • or overriding intuition

But experienced practitioners learn:👉 sometimes the greatest skill is restraint.

🧠 The Session Is Not About Giving Clients Everything They Want

This may be difficult to hear.

But the subconscious is not always trying to satisfy:👉 curiosity

It prioritizes:👉 growth👉 readiness👉 healing👉 timing

One practitioner beautifully summarized it:

“They receive exactly what they are meant to.”

And honestly…

the more practitioners work with the subconscious, the more this begins to feel true.

🌿 The Practitioner Is Also Learning Trust

This discussion was not only about the client.

It was also about:👉 the practitioner learning surrender

Because practitioners too can become attached to:

  • outcomes

  • dramatic breakthroughs

  • proving the session “worked”

  • or helping the client feel satisfied immediately

But the subconscious often teaches practitioners:👉 trust the process

Even when the session doesn’t unfold the way the ego expected.

⚡ The Most Powerful Sessions Are Not Always the Most Dramatic

The client’s first session:

  • was not highly visual

  • not filled with detailed answers

  • and not obviously “spectacular.”

Yet afterward:👉 her relationships softened👉 her reactions changed👉 tension eased👉 and her perspective transformed.

That matters deeply.

Because many practitioners still unconsciously judge sessions by:

  • intensity

  • visuals

  • or dramatic revelations

But subtle shifts often create:👉 the deepest long-term change.

🧠 The Goal Is Not Dependency on the Practitioner

One of the most beautiful moments in the entire discussion came at the end.

After the second session, the client said:👉 she now felt she could access that connection herself.

That is huge.

Because real healing should ultimately move clients toward:👉 inner trust

Not practitioner dependency.

🌊 Sometimes the Session Is Preparing the Ground

This may be the deepest lesson of all.

The first session may not have been:👉 the answer

It may have been:👉 the preparation

Preparation for:

  • trust

  • receptivity

  • nervous system softening

  • self-worth

  • and readiness to receive more later

And honestly…

that may be just as sacred.

🌌 What Practitioners Eventually Learn

The subconscious does not work according to:

  • impatience

  • performance

  • ego timelines

  • or human urgency

It works according to:👉 readiness

And sometimes:👉 “not yet” is actually profound compassion.

✨ Final Thought

One of the deepest practitioner lessons is learning this:

When the Higher Self says:

“Not yet”…

it may not be withholding healing.

👉 It may already be creating it beneath the surface.

And sometimes the most powerful thing a practitioner can do…

is trust what is unfolding, even when they cannot fully see it yet.
