What If The Answers You're Looking For Already Exist Within You?


Recently, I had the opportunity to join Peter Kolakovic on his podcast, My Best Life, for a conversation titled:

"Knowing Beyond Thinking: Quantum Hypnosis, Healing, and Higher Awareness."


Over the course of an hour, we explored some of the questions I hear most often from clients:

  • What is Quantum Hypnosis?

  • Is hypnosis safe?

  • What actually happens during a session?

  • What is the Higher Self?

  • Can hypnosis help with anxiety, patterns, fears, and emotional healing?

  • Why do some people experience profound shifts after a session?


These are important questions because many people are searching for deeper healing, clarity, and self-understanding, yet often don't know where to begin.

This article shares some of the key ideas from that conversation and offers a grounded introduction to the world of Quantum Hypnosis.


What Is Quantum Hypnosis?


Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a method developed by Dolores Cannon that helps individuals access a deep state of relaxation and expanded awareness.


Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not about losing control.

It is not mind control.

It is not being unconscious.


In fact, most clients remain aware of what is happening throughout the session.

The state is often similar to the moments between waking and sleeping, when the conscious mind becomes quieter and deeper layers of awareness become more accessible.


Within this state, people may experience:

  • Symbolic imagery

  • Emotional memories

  • Significant life events

  • Creative insights

  • Past-life experiences

  • Deep intuition

  • Communication with what many describe as their Higher Self


Every session is unique.

No two journeys are ever exactly alike.


Why People Seek Quantum Hypnosis


Many people initially discover QHHT because they are curious about past lives.

While that can certainly be part of the experience, it is rarely the main reason clients leave transformed.


Most people come because they feel stuck.

They may be experiencing:

  • Repeating relationship patterns

  • Anxiety or overthinking

  • Lack of clarity

  • Self-doubt

  • Difficulty making important decisions

  • Emotional blocks

  • Spiritual questions

  • A desire for deeper purpose


Often, they have already spent years trying to solve these challenges through logic alone.

What they discover is that some answers cannot be found by thinking harder.

Sometimes they emerge when the mind becomes quiet enough to listen.


The Part Most People Never See


When people hear about hypnosis, they often imagine the trance itself.

What surprises many clients is that some of the most important work happens before the hypnosis even begins.


A typical QHHT session starts with a detailed interview.

This conversation often lasts one to two hours.

We discuss:

  • Life experiences

  • Challenges

  • Patterns

  • Relationships

  • Emotional history

  • Questions they want answered


This process serves several purposes.


First, it helps create emotional safety.

Second, it allows clients to feel seen and understood.

Third, it helps reveal patterns that may not have been obvious before.


Many breakthroughs begin during the conversation itself.

By the time hypnosis starts, the subconscious mind has already begun organizing information in a new way.


What Happens During The Hypnosis Session?


After the interview, clients are guided into a deeply relaxed state.

Every person's experience looks different.

Some people see vivid imagery.

Some experience emotions.

Some receive intuitive knowing.

Others simply notice subtle impressions.

One of the biggest misconceptions about hypnosis is the belief that everyone should see a movie playing in their mind.

That is simply not true.

Many powerful sessions are surprisingly subtle.


The subconscious communicates in many languages:

  • Feelings

  • Sensations

  • Symbols

  • Emotions

  • Memories

  • Inner knowing

  • Visual experiences


The goal is not to force an experience.

The goal is to remain open to whatever is naturally arising.


Understanding The Higher Self


One topic that often generates curiosity is the concept of the Higher Self.

Different traditions use different language.

Some call it intuition.

Others call it inner wisdom.

Some call it consciousness.

Others call it the soul.


Whatever language resonates with you, most people have experienced moments when they somehow knew something beyond ordinary thinking.

A deep certainty.

A sudden insight.

An inner clarity.

A quiet knowing.


Within QHHT sessions, many clients experience access to this deeper intelligence in a way that feels more direct and accessible.

The answers often feel wiser, calmer, and less reactive than the thoughts generated by fear or anxiety.


Healing Isn't Always Dramatic


One of the most important points I shared during the podcast is that healing is not always a dramatic experience.

People often expect fireworks.

They expect instant transformation.

Sometimes that happens.

Often it doesn't.


More commonly, healing unfolds gradually.

It may appear as:

  • Better boundaries

  • Reduced anxiety

  • Improved relationships

  • Increased self-awareness

  • Greater emotional regulation

  • More trust in life

  • Better decision-making


Many clients report their biggest shifts occurring days or weeks after the session.

The subconscious continues processing long after the formal session ends.

This is why integration is such an important part of the healing journey.


Knowing Beyond Thinking

The title of the podcast episode was inspired by something I have observed repeatedly.


Many of us spend years trying to think our way through challenges.

We analyze.

We strategize.

We worry.

We replay conversations.

We search endlessly for certainty.

Yet some of life's deepest answers arise when thinking finally relaxes.


There is a form of intelligence that exists beneath constant mental activity.

A wisdom that becomes easier to hear when the noise settles.

Quantum Hypnosis often helps people reconnect with that deeper part of themselves.

Not by giving them answers from outside.

But by helping them access answers from within.


Is Quantum Hypnosis Right For Everyone?


Quantum Hypnosis is not about replacing therapy, medical care, or professional support.

It is simply another tool for self-exploration and personal growth.


People who tend to benefit most are often:

  • Open-minded

  • Curious

  • Reflective

  • Interested in personal growth

  • Seeking deeper self-understanding

You do not need to believe in past lives.

You do not need to be spiritual.

You do not need prior meditation experience.

The only requirement is a willingness to explore.


My Experience As A Practitioner


After facilitating many sessions, one lesson stands out above all others:

The subconscious is often far wiser than we give it credit for.

Again and again, I have watched people uncover insights they could not access through ordinary thinking.


Not because I gave them those answers.

Not because hypnosis created those answers.

But because those answers were already present within them.

The session simply created the conditions for them to be heard.

That is what continues to inspire me about this work.

Not the extraordinary stories.

Not the unusual experiences.

But the profound human capacity for healing, growth, and self-discovery.
